Laptops Ratings

As part of our growing intention to provide an unbiased informational website with regards to netbooks, Small Laptops Guide have added a new laptops rating system to every page within the website. At the top of every page are ten stars and a rating out of ten. This rating system has been added so that users who visit us are able to give their own opinions on the latest small laptops on the market. This means that YOU are able to share your opinion with the World on any of the laptops we have reviewed. Maybe you disagree, maybe you have an opinion to add, our new laptops ratings system allows you to share your thoughts.

At the top of each page you can see 10 yellow stars and below that an overall rating based on user generated clicks. By clicking on the relevant number of stars, you are able cast your vote and decide on the rating of the particular small laptop mentioned on the page. So for example, if you have used a particular laptop and have thought it was awful, a really bad machine, and would not recommend it to anyone, then a low rating would be appropriate. If however, the laptop was the best you had ever used and you wanted to let everyone know, then a high rating would be the way to go. Over the course of time, with many users adding their own opinion, we hope to provide a fair rating of the particular laptop.

When many sites carry out their system of laptop ratings, they will be adding a rating based on a review of a laptop. But how long have they used the netbook for when carrying out the review? An hour? A day? It’s difficult to say. Often they get the machine for 2 weeks, but even then this may not be enough to realise all issues. Only prolonged use gives you a full idea of whether the laptop computer is worth the money you paid for or not. Actual owners of a small laptop, who have spent their own hard earned money on a machine are able to provide impartial and unbiased reviews.

When providing a small laptops rating, try to think about factors of the pc which appeal to you:
Is it worth the money?
How easy is the laptop to carry?
Is the keyboard easy to type with?
Does the small laptop have enough memory and a big enough hard drive?
Does the small laptop have a good battery life?

All these factors help to determine an overall rating of a laptop and give you a final rating. It’s good to share this with others so they can use the benefit of your knowledge. As well as providing laptop ratings, it’s also a good idea to provide your own review. The comments section on each page allows users to provide their own reviews. Even a few short lines can be helpful and can assist users in determining whether a laptop is worth buying or not. Look to try and be honest and provide info on both what’s good or bad about a particular small laptop. Remember, commenting only takes a few seconds but can ultimately help people save money or make sure they spend it wisely.
